can i relax curly human hair extention and lift the color with clairol creme developer 40 maximum lift?
I purchased a great quality human hair brand extention. The texture of the hair is Brazilian curly. so sometimes to achieve a less frizzy look when i relax the extention not to straight but enough to blow dry it evenly. its easier to buy the straight texture instead, but the straight hair doesn’t look natural with my hair. the hair extention is 1b and my hair is a between 1b and 2 ,so have to lift the extention color to match my hair perfectly. However i find the end result after doing both chemical treatments,( relax then lift) the extention is brittle, feels fried, tangles much more . is there a proper way to accomplish this with out destroying the hair?
Okay so Idon’t know about that, but I have like seriously curly hair, and well I found a way to make it look amaaaazing!!!!
- Okay so you wash it normally, first with shampoo and then with conditioner.
- Always leave the conditioner in for at least 5-10 minutes and concentrate on the ends (but don’t leave out the roots). (I use Tres Semme and VO5, but everything works.)
- Thereafter rinse your hair out thoroughly.
-Once you get out of the bath, only SLIGHTLY towel dry your hair.
- Then (this is the product you MUST buy). Okay so first, brush your hair, brush brush, brush. Because your hair is curly it still has to be wet.
- Then use VO5 Anti Frizz creme. It’s in a blue like bottle. Don’t worry that it’s watery, that is how it’s supposed to be.
- Make sure your top of your head is very flat. You then squeeze out a big dolop, or two, or whatever you need, and then smooth it over the top of your head, making sure that it is flat…
- Once you have done that, brush again, softly, and then apply to the back of your head (again making sure it is as flat as possible.)
- Then finally to your roots.
-Let your hair dry naturally for about 10 minutes, then put it up in a little bun at the bottom back of your head.
- Let dry and voila!!!!!
- I have a bit of a fringe, so I straighten that, but that’s it.
