My cat is sick. I need some help.?
My cat is not eating nore drinking. He keeps throwing up. We cannot afford a vet so what should we do? I looked it up online and i gave him his own room his own litterbox and his own food and water. His hair underneath his neck is all stuck together. Will he feel good if I let him rest in the bath? Warm, hot, or cold water? I know when humans are sick it feels good to take baths with cold water so thats why i’m asking. anymore tips to make him feel better??? he is also young. i have had him since he was 6 weeks and for about two years. HELP PLEASE!
i’m not asking if he needs to see a vet or not. we have and they say that they dont know what it is. they say there is a “bug” going around and we need to keep him having food and water in him

You have a responsibility to this cat. There is really no such thing, with a cat that may be as sick as he is, to not afford taking him to the vet. I am being strong here, because there are all kinds of credit plans available, such as credit care.com and http://www.companionanimalfoundation.org/

This is a cat, not a human being. Cats do not enjoy warm baths, nor are they good for a sick kitty. The way to make him feel better is to get him to the vet who can treat him. Explain your situation to the vet and beg if you have to. But do look up those links which can help as well.
Cats that are not eating or drinking are in danger of dehydration, liver problems,( which only makes things worse). I am sorry your cat is sick, but when we take a pet into our home we do have a responsibility for them.
Please do something to help him now. He needs professional care. I wish you all the best, and if I sound really strong, it is a matter of urgency… not home care for something that you do not know what is the cause of his illness.

Edit: In consultation with my vet about your question, if your vet cannot find anything wrong with your cat, or it is a “bug” he needs medication. This vet does not seem to be doing well by your cat.. find another vet ASAP.
