How can I remove broken pin from a 3 point plug socket?
The top pin has snapped off and got stuck in the plug socket – not sure how it snapped although it looks like it might be plastic? It’s been pushed right in so there is no way that I can get a hold of it. Is there any way that I can remove this safely without electrocuting myself? Or is it easy for me to replace the plug socket?

Ok if it is the rounded one in the middle between the two slots on the socket it is a ground that is intended to be there for your safety that would be connect to any outer metal housing that an appliance would have and thus it has no power on it so if it is hollow you can carefully jam a screw or nail in it and pull it out (it is metal not plastic) but if it makes you feel safer turn off the power first. I would add also that at least this is all true for wiring standards here in the USA and if you still can’t get a grip on it then you will have to remove it by turning off the power to it and bang it over a edge until it either comes out or you break the thing.
