I have fake neon clip in extensions. Why do they look so fake when i wear them?
Also, does anyone know why they hardly show when I put them on? My hair is kind of like this http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/images/long-sleek-rachel-bilson.jpg and after i’ve clipped them on, they hardly show up because my hair covers it all.
When i mean neon, i mean the type which is supposed to highlight your hair so it stands out. And what I really meant was, do I need a certain layered hairstyle which is short at the top so nothing covers it at the bottom?
Try to put them higher up on your head, so there is less hair covering them,
And the reason they look fake is well, because they are.
Neon hair never ever looks really unless its only dye, and you have platinum blond hair. That’s just how it is.
You could try to get real hair extensions if they are synthetic, which might be why they look faker – because that hair doesn’t go with the natural texture of your hair.
You can buy a weft that is a blond as blond goes, and then dye it the colors you need. It’ll be expensive, but if you’re in it for the long run, it might be worth it.
I know they have some at Hot Topic that are pre colored, they aren’t the best quality but they might just do.
Also, if you straighten or curl them, plan on replacing them every other week or so, that will fry them out if they aren’t the best quality.
