Caulking top of granite backslash, color match instead?
After a contractor installed granite counter tops and 7” backsplash, he ran a bead of white paintable silicone caulking along the top of the backsplash against the wall, which is sheetrock.
Shouldn’t he have used a colored caulk that matches the color of the granite?
When I paint the wall, I’ll have to paint over the white caulk which will look odd as opposed to a clean paint-line at the edge of the backsplash if he had just used a matching color.
you can go with your preference there is no set standard on chauking either ,paintable,colored, or clear silcone
