Wig or no wig?
So i took down my sewn in weave, it look horrible, now i’m thinking of getting a wig ( human hair ), i’ve tried the clip on extensions but there not for me, i want something that i can just put on amd im out the door. my hair is really short and i look like a boy NOT CUTE : ), so my question is can you tell when a person is wearing a wig and is it cute to wear one, just for a while as i let my hair grow out a little. thanks in advance.

It depends on what kind you get (quality and color–get a color that becomes you) and how you brush it and whether you “prepare” before your wear it. It’s a good idea to purchase a bottle of wig spray to “freshen” up the wig every so often.
Follow the directions for washing your wig. Though, you shouldn’t overwash it as it may become ratty looking quickly.
It’s a good idea to get a wig stand to keep it on. Also, get a wig brush ( a brush that has wire bristles with little ball tips on the ends).
Put it on your head and style it the way you wish to wear it. Then, place it on the stand after you carefully remove it.
By styling it in advance, you can wake up in the morning, shower and jump into your clothes. Throw on your hairdo and make any minor adjustments and go.
I personally prefer synthetic wigs because you don’t have to set them and they keep their style.
Also if you really love a style wig you have and wear it often, you might consider investing in a duplicate so that you stay looking fresh. One of the telltale signs of a person wearing a wig is when it starts to wear.
Human hair on the other hand, you have to set or curl with a curling iron. It’s possible that if you get caught in the rain, your style will get messed up. Whereas a synthetic wig won’t have a meltdown like that.
As for your own hair: shampoo condition and take the best care that you can afford. Also, get a really good hairstyle when it gets a little longer because you may find that you really “love” your hair if you get a sharp short haircut.
Oh, don’t forget to wear your wig cap.
