if i shave my head how long will it take to grow back?
my hair is very damaged from dying it a lot and straightening it almost everyday. It hasn’t gotten longer in years because it keeps breaking off from the ends. also i had extensions before and they really screwed up my hair. It’s really thinned out and short and fried. I got it trimmed, but I don’t know if that’s good enough there are still some split ends and fried hair. I really just want to shave my head and start over so that I can have healthy hair and not damage it. But if I did this how long would it take to grow back? like how long would it take to grow to shoulder length? and if i wore a wig after I shaved it, would that make it not grow? Someone told that wearing a wig cuts of circulation to the scalp and breaks the hair is that true?
It would probably take a few years. Tbh I don’t think you should completely shave it, maybe just get a cute crop and then regrow it from there
