What’s better: Purple or blue streaks in brownish-black Asian hair?
I’d actually prefer something like a deep pinkish-purple, but they don’t have that color on sale. So I’m deciding between the the blue – a dark cobalt blue, and the purple – kind of bright purple. Here’s an image:

I thought the pink would be more flattering to my skin tone, but it’s a little bit too bright and loud for my taste.
What color do you think would suit me best?

I would think on a personal basis the purple, its much more flattering to your complextion rather than the blue, as the blue can make you look too cold and hard faced
