Getting more extension..?
My hunter under saddle horse does great.. but we have 2 semi big shows coming up and i want more extending.. or just stick to leg squeezing? i want the more long and low stretched out?

One thing to try: squeezing with alternating legs, left right left right. Time it with his strides. Squeeze left when his left rear’s about to push off, squeeze right when his right rear’s about to push off.
For dressage, I’ve found that sitting taller, straighter while posting slower and doing an alternating squeeze gets me more extension. I’ll also keep his attention and keep him from speeding up by jiggling the bit lightly with my hands.
