Question for people who do hair extensions?
All of my hair was basically fried off by a person that did not know how to bleach hair. She left it on way too long and my hair started falling out. I ended up just cutting it because it looked like I was losing my hair. HORRIBLE experience. Anyway. It has grown out a few inches and I thought, maybe a wig would be cute. I had one made to look like my hair prior to it being burned off. It is 24″ and pretty full. I was just too self concious about it looking too fake, so I never wear it. I spent a FORTUNE on this wig. Now, I am thinking about hair extensions and I am curious to see if they can cut the hair off the wig and use it for the extensions as well as other hair that I will be buying. I know it sounds silly but otherwise this thing will never ever be used and it was a lot of money. Can they simply cut the hair off the wig and then use it as extension hair. I believe it is the same stuff. Can someone who does extensions please let me know. THanks.
I do extensions but I wouldn’t do what you are requesting. I get all my hair from one supplier. I know their hair and I know how to work with their hair. I couldn’t guarantee my work if I used hair that was brought into my salon.
