How to lighten human hair extensions…?
Okay, so i’m thinking about putting some hair extensions in for a short while, but the problem is they’re a shade, maybe two darker than my hair colour. (My hair’s dark brown, the extensions are dark dark brown, almost black).
I bought them and wore them once about a year ago when my hair was darker, but i’m not prepared to dye my hair darker again. So yeah, they’re still in decent condition.
I heard you can dye them to match your hair colour, and I was considering putting some peroxide on them to lift the colour a little so they’d blend in more with my hair. Would this work or wreck them?
Advice and experiences would be appreciated. Thanks =)
Oh, by the way they’re 100% Remy human hair.
That is a bad idea, unless you want them orange. Bring them to your hairdresser and ask her to color them. Or you can buy a color at CVS and color them, do not put peroxide on them!
