I’m an African American , mixed with other stuff but i have real thick hair how do I?
I have this problem for awhile now, this has never happend when I was younger but, everytime i wash my hair like 2 or 3 weeks after i get a perm, my hair is poofy after i blow dry it will stay frizzy and dry i put grease in it but still it is frizzy. is their any hair products i can use for my thick fuzzy hair made for black women? my hair is about to my shouldrs.

I have this same problem. It doesn’t matter what hair products you use, it’s all about how you dry it. DO NOT BLOW DRY IT!!! I used to do this and I finally realized that this is the problem. If your hair is anything like mine it tangles really easily. As soon as you wash your hair comb it out and immediately sit under a dryer. (If you don’t have one, you can get one at any beauty supply store for like $30-$40.) Let your hair dry completely and use iol sheen on it. If there are still parts that are frizzy. Try buying a CHI flat iron. These can run you $80-$100. Yes, it is expensive but well worth it. It has ceramic heating plates which are best for your hair (be sure to keep your ends clipped as using heat this hot on your hair without the ends clipped with cause damage). To get one of these for about $80 (the cheapest I’ve ever seen) go to your local Beauty Express store on a Tuesday morning…this is when they have their early bird special of 20% off. Hence the $80 price.

As for products to use. I really like the Pantene for women of color line. The conditioner I choose to use is the conditioner for color treated hair (although my hair isn’t color treated) because it has more conditioners in it.
