What would happen if i mixed food coloring with normal henna to change the color?
In stead of using the brown one and since black henna is bad for the skin :
the color of the henna on the skin will not be different.
Sadly that will not do anything to change it at all.
Some people like to dip the skin into ammonia to make it darker, but it is very harsh on the skin.
It is fun to experiment doing two tone henna though. Leaving different parts on for different lengths of time does give different shades of color. http://www.hennacaravan.com/hands_two_tone.html
