100 strands of micro ring hair extensions enough?
I have quite fine short hair, and I’m planning on getting micro ring hair extensions and applying them myself. Would 100 strands of 0.8g hair extensions be enough?
a typical full head of hair extensions needs 120 – 180 strands… up to 200 strands for thicker hair whereby you want really full results.
I don;t want to put you off if you’ve already purchased your hair but just to let you kno… fine short hair might not work well with micro rings.. the rings are likely to show through (Depending on how short and how fine your hair actually is) mine is short and fine and thin and micro rings were a disaster – they showed through and were heavy on my hair.
i think this kind of hair between suits the brazillian knot technique- but i dont kno coz your hair might not be as thin / short as mine.
anyway if you go ahead i would suggsest you bought 150 strands to be on the safe side
0.8 gram is quite substantial as somtimes the strands are 0.5 which give a more natural effect.
