Suggest a cosplay for me.. Y_Y”?
okay so a huge anime convention is coming up and I seriously need a cosplay since I’m freshed out of ideas.. I was planning to cosplay Yuko from xxxHolic but her wardrobe seems to be too costly to be made and I have a tight budget so I changed my cosplay idea to Kagamine Rin from Vocaloid but then I heard that there were already a lot of people cosplaying her.
So could anybody suggest a cosplay for me
Here’s my physical description: I’m asian, very pale skin, 5’5″, long black hair (appx. 3 inches above my waist), i have full bangs…
Anyway, from my previous cosplays, I have a short (shoulder length) blonde wig w/ full bangs and light blue contacts. So yeh I could definitely re use those for an upcoming cosplay…
It would be nice if the character is well known so I could have a lot of image reference and information

You could always go for Reki from Haibane Renmei. You’ve got the hair and the clothes would be a pretty simple find. The only things you’d have to try to make are the wings and halo. There are some how to make wings links under the source section. For the halo you could cut out some cardboard into a halo shape, paint it, and attach it to a black head band with some wire.
An option for use with your blond wig could be Excel from Excel Saga. I think she would be rather fun to play as! She has green eyes, but you may be able to get away with your blue contacts, especially if people aren’t looking too closely ^_~ As for her outift, some short shorts and bolero jacket (if you get them in white you could dye them the mint green color to match), and a black tank top should work!
