if they are real human hair yes you can colour them… as for washing , pick up a gentle shampoo and a super conditioner, extentions can get very dry ver fast… try to lightly wash hair almost just let the suds sit instead of lathering because lathering can tangle your hair and extentionsare nasty to brush through
