Help!!! How can I lighten or dye my lace front wig from colour #1 to #1b?

I recently brought a human lace front wig colour no #1 and after wearing it once I realised that colour 1b would have been better. Today I attempted to dye the wig using a permanent powdered hair dye by Fushion in colour 1b but after completing the colouring process and drying the hair I noticed no change in the hair colour at all. Even when the wig is held up against the light it’s still as jet black as it was originally. Can anyone advise me how to sucessfully dye or lighten the wig so its nearer #1b in colour rather than #1.

I highly suggest taking your lace wig to a professional stylist. It may cost you a little change and you’ll have the satisfaction of having a professional job done on your lace wig.
