Hair extensions expensive, what would I look better in?
This is what my hair looks like now (the length)

except it’s black.
I really want long hair, but I have a coarse hair texture and very thick hair. I’ve had a consultation, and they said that weaving isn’t a good way to go, I’m looking into the bonding with keratin.
But, because of my hair type (and I’m looking at the 18-20″ length extensions, human hair) it would cost at least $1,000, and maybe more.
Keep in mind I’ve tried growing my hair out, once it gets down to my shoulders, it’s unmanageable, frizzy, etc.
What would I look better in, the hairstyle I have now, or the extensions, and is it worth it for the extensions?
Well, I have a suggestion.
Don’t get the extensions done professionally. You can go to sallys beauty supply and buy very good quality ones that clip in and out, and it is so much cheaper. And if you decide you want short hair again, you could just clip them out. They’re human hair, you can wash them, curl them, straighten them, etc.
Since you said you have thick hair, 2 packages should do the trick. They’re about 70 bucks a package, which definitely beats 1000
