Can you dye a jet black human hair wig?
I recently purchased a jet black human hair wig. I took it to the salon and the did a strand test on it, and the color wouldnt even budge!!! I purchased my own kit, and tried my own test strand, and it wouldnt work either. I was jus curious to know if its possible to dye, and what else i could try!!!!!
Not even with bleach.
It was dipped where they made it in a dye that protects it from hair product, the elements and washing.
Buy a new wig, look to make sure it specifically says that it is untreated. Or ask the sales staff for a dye able wig.
