Can I use synthetic hair with fusion hair extensions?
My friend is wanting me to put fusion extensions in her hair. She’s only wanting them for a short time, just a few weeks…So we were wondering instead of using expensive human hair could we use more affordable synthetic hair? I’ve put in human hair extensions before but I’m very unsure about using synthetic hair.
This is completely up to you, but should be done with care or by a professional. Synthetic hair obviously melts with intense heat such as close blow drying, flat irons, etc.
I have actually had fusion done myself, but with human hair. I personally will never have the process of fusion done again either. It tends to be messy and of most of the hair extension processes done now, it puts the most stress on the root of the hair and the follicle.
I would advise using human hair. It does cost more, but it’ll be a better benefit in the long run.
