Bleaching hair blonde from dark brown? Go to hairdresser or do myself?
Hey,
Im currently really dark brown, and I want to go white blonde / platinum blonde.
The hairdressers is very expensive to do this though.
Is it possible to do it at home? if so, any tips?
Also, is it possible to bleach human hair extensions the same colour?
if you bleach hair extensions the human hair gets very fried on the ends…its best to buy extensions close to the colour you have. you can always dye them darker but they never recommend to lighten them.
with lightening your hair, its best to go to the hairdressers, but to do it at home, you need to do a bleach wash to get most of that colour out. what that is, is bleach, water and a bit of your peroxide. and watch it. then to get the best possible outcome you will need to get some one to foil your hair. its a bit of a process but you will achieve a nice sort of blonde.
lightening your hair… your hair will go through stages. red orange, orange red, orange, orange yellow and then yellow. after you get past the yellow you need to put a purple toner through it to neutralize the yellow.
