How do you choose to live your life?
I see a lot of frustrated people in Q&A pulling the race card. People that have been racially slighted by a particular ethnic group, only to come into Q&A spewing hate on an entire race of people who had nothing to do with this person’s situation. Our generation doesn’t have to “act” or “think” like the last generation when it comes to race. I would like to believe that we’re better than that. But apparently not. We have dominion over all animals. Why? Because supposedly we’re smarter, we’re “civilized.” I wonder sometimes if wild animals are more “humane” than humans. Look around you. Life is short. The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines in Iraq represent various ethnicies and diverse back grounds. Be it as it may, they’re fighting as one against those who would destroy what we value the most. Our freedom. It took 9/11 to “unite” us. Do we need yet another 9/11 to remind us that we all bleed red? My life is more than my skin color. What about you?
