how long do clip in hair extensions last for?
I’ve been planning on buying clip in hair extensions (Luxy Hair, 160g Remy Human Hair Extensions – http://www.luxyhair.com/collections/all/products/off-black-1b-160g ) and I’m wondering how long they will last me for. Also, how do you clean them? do you remove them, and use certain kinds of shampoos and conditioners, or will anything work? I need to know so I don’t waste my money by buying extensions that will only last me five months or so, because that would freaking suck.
If you take REAL good care of them, they last about a year (maybe a little more than that). If you apply heat to them regularly, they will probably last about 6-9 months. You can just wash them in the sink and use regular shampoo and conditioner. Just wash them if they start to smell bad. After you wash them, the extensions look more natural and they turn a bit wavy.
(Make sure you tease your hair too before you apply the extensions)
