how do you cut hair extensions?
i have hair extensions and they’re silky just how i like.. problem is that when i put them into a ponytail, they’re super thin at the top and box-ish and big at the bottom which seriously ways my hair down..any idea on how to cut them and make them look sleek. when i got them they were perfectly cut and everything like the last ones i got, but when i put these into a ponytail they came out all thick at the bottom. i have been cutting them since the day i got them and its just uneven and ugly which causes me to have to wear them in a messy bun because of how ugly it looks down or in a ponytail. can someone please help me
Point cut them,take a good pair of scissors,and cut short quick cuts going vertically vs horizontally,do this all accross the bottom,it will give the bottom a “whispy” look,almost like a razor cut,this will counteract the “bluntness” at the bottom.
You might want to try YouTube,looking up point cutting,see if you can find a video to show you how,incase my explanation isn’t the best,it’s hard to describe how to cut hair on the web LOL
