I have euronext hair extensions , i’m dying my hair& the hair pieces , is it oky to do that& how do i wash it?
im just curious
will it be oky? i dont want to ruin the hair pieces& will someone just explain the care
I work at Sally Beauty Supply, so I have the low down on Euronext. It is always suggested you try to get the closest color possible to your own or the color you want to be and dye your own hair to match the extension instead of coloring the extension. If you still want to color them, you are suggested to take them to a beauty salon and have them do the color in the extension as well as your own. If you still can’t do that, you need find a conditioning color in a creme version and use a creme developer, it will be thicker and stick to just the places you want the color to be if you are doing highlights, for all over color, do a liquid. From there get the Soft Sheen Carson Weave care products to cleanse, condition, and style the extension and your hair–you can use the product on real and synthetic hair. The coloring process is a bit confusing as to what colors you need to get. If you are going lighter, you will have to use bleach, because artificial tint won’t lift artificial tint, and the extensions are already colored. If you are going darker, you can get any permanent, demi-permanent, or semi-permanent color to use on it. Semi or demi are your best choices because both of those should wash out eventually, and if you ever changed your mind and wanted the extension lighter, then it wouldn’t be too hard to achieve. Be very careful with your extension, it isn’t hard to ruin them. I would definitely do a test strand on just one of the extensions, so you will have some left if it does ruin it.
