What does weft hair (extensions) mean in hairdressing terms?
Does it mean it’s sewn onto the little strip at the top?
Because I’m thinking of buying hair wholesale, sewing the clips onto it, dying it and selling them locally.
But i dont want to buy it and ending up just being a bunch of hair i cant do anything with.

weft basically means its a long strip of hair thats like a curtain and it has a seam at the top and this is where you can sew on clips, or glue/sew hair in to a clients hair.

the link above is where i got my weft from – they sell remy hair which is cuticle intact – they do whole sale prices.
they do russian/european virgin hair and indian virgin hair.
then they do normal remy hair.
they also do untreated hair which can be coloured.
i got my 22 inch hair and can honestly say it felt like silk.
