Why does your head string/burn when the hair color is setting (when your at a salon)?
I was having my hair dyed brunette and my head was buring from the color. I was under the blow dryer and my head was buring. I was worried I had a reaction but it all came out looking amazing. I just want to know why my head was stinging/buring. I didnt get my hair bleached that day so was it just the color setting? I hope its not a bad thing because im going back to get it re done because the color faded (that was this past January when I was there) now I have an appointment for the 15th of this month.
You could’ve had an allergic reaction to the dye, but that’s usually not the case.
Almost all people who get their hair dyed or dye their hair themselves get that burning sensation you described.
I guess it’s because the dye is made of pure chemicals. It’s kind of like… shampooing your hair with peroxide. It’s bound to burn because that’s what peroxide does.
Did that even make sense?
Oh well, it made sense in my head.
