What hair care product can I use to get hold withOUT that crunchy feel?
I have long hair with a spiral perm in it, and I bought some brush rollers and Lamaur ICS Instant Conditioner and Set to use. I haven’t tried it yet, but I was reading about hair setting lotions and people say they are basically just watery hair gel which will give that crunchy feel in your hair. I’ve also tried just shampooing and conditioning then scrunching Pantene curl creme in my damp hair to define and hold the curls, but that also leaves my hair with that yucky crunchy feel. I want something that will help define and hold the curls while leaving my hair feeling soft and natural. Does anything like that exist?
Yes! I use Umberto Giannini Curl Friends Gel(which you can only find online or at Rite Aid). but I only use the gel after applying a good leavein moisturizer like neutrogena triple moisture silktouch leave-in or ORS Shea Butter to combat the crunchy feeling. The gel leaves my hair so soft and supple!
