Can i bleach black hair?
I have dyed black hair and i was wondering if i could skip the stripping out stage and just bleach it?
I really dont care if it comes out orange bc i will be dyeing it manic panic red anyways!!!
I have really dark like jet black hair… and i would like to lighten it in JUST 1 use…. like i said idc if it is orange as long as the manic panic dye will cover it!!!
Since i just wanna bleach it in 1 use i will be using Salon care 40 volume developer 4.oz but i will buy 2 bottles to get 5.0z and loreal quick blue 1.oz X2 so i will have 2 oz of powder and 5 oz of developer
Will that be enough for shoulder length hair?
Please spare with me and dont tell me to go to a salon… I simply dont have enough money

Yeah you can just bleach it.
but DO NOT use a 40 developer. That’ll ruin your hair and you wont be able to get it light enough to dye with manic panic due to damage.
Use salon cares 30 devleoper, and just invest in the huge bottle (just in case) since well, it’s only $1 more. lol.
And you’ll need to bleach it out twice, since you have black.
If you only do it once (Even with 40) your hair will only be a light red color, which will look like total shit after you apply manic panic. You want your hair to at LEAST be a yellow/orange blonde for a good turn out.
and tbh I’d just buy the big bottle of developer.
It’s only like $1 more.
and it’s your choice is you just wanna buy the packets.
I’d just buy a big container of this.
My aunt used the packets and well, it barely covered her hair
(her’s is only to the beginning of her neck, very short)
Plus, it’s not much more anyways.
