does a weave damage your hair ?
heya..on the weekend i’m going to get a weave , but i’ve heard it damages your hair and can lead to hair loss, so is there any other way of putting extensions in except from sewing,bonding(gluing) or hair fusion method ( hot wax in hair to stick it ) and if i were to buy real human hair expensive clip ons which the hair dresser can still do for me could i slept with them in and stuff i’m really confused i’m a right spaz when it comes to hair ,

A WEAVE IS HORRIBLE FOR YOUR HAIR!!! I am latina and my hair is pretty thick. I got a weave put in about a 3 weeks ago and took it out the day before yesterday. Once it took it out and washed my hair I was literally in the shower crying because I had chunks of hair falling out. Once I finally got out of the shower I noticed a quarter sized bald spot. When I say bald I mean bald as in completely smooth no hair at all. To me it is very noticable and the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I look like I have been going through kemo therapy. What I did now was order some clip on hair extensions to cover up that bald spot that is on the side of my head and noticable. Please take my advise. Getting a weave what the worst decision of my life and I would never do it again. I was looking up some things about balding and weaving and they said that putting a weave in can cause what is called traction alopecia. My hair may not ever grow back and that is something that I have to live with due to my decision in getting a weave. I wish someone would have told me what I am telling you it would have made my desicion total different.
