what is difference between auto color and full color printing?
In my office we have a huge Konica/Bizhub printer and it’s printing options are auto color, full color, and grey scale.
We get that greyscale means black and white/no color but what is the difference between “auto color” and “full color” printing? There’s two options so I assume they are not the same, there MUST be a difference but on the print out we can’t see one.
Auto color doesn’t necessarily use less ink. What that means is that you are letting the printer choose the color for you. It doesn’t always come out great depending on how fussy you are.
If you choose full color, you have the option of setting the color scheme yourself if you don’t like the Auto-color feature. Greyscale means that it will only print using the black cartrdige. This is useful for text and more economical by not using the colored cartrdige.
On the printout, if you use Photo glossy paper, you WILL see the difference on full color but not on regular paper.
