can you straighten a wig?

I bought a wig and cut it to my hairstyle (wigs are my fashion statement!) and now i want to straighten it, but it’s not made of human hair, it’s made of some sort of human hair alternative that is: “easier to care for” the wigs are made from “Kanekalon”
