can pet fancy mice eat these things listed:?
i have 13 pet fancy mice, in 3 different cages.
the girls and boys are separated, etc etc.
i was wondering if i could give them some human food, not every day, but on occasion. I ran out of their rodent mix.
i give them salads sometimes, just a small bowl with letuce and some chopped vegies, can i put any type of salad dressing on it for them?
could i make my mice ittly bitty pancakes, with no added butter or syrup? (made out of bisquick)
and also can mice eat meat? and would they like it? by meat i mean those thin slices of deli turkey and ham?
thanks, i havent tried any of this food, and i wont if i shouldnt, so if you have experience please help.
thanks.
Salad is fine, but make sure not to give too much;; they can get wet tail, which is like a human stomach bug, and they get dehydrated and slowly die. No salad-dressing…they wouldn’t eat it, anyway.
Pancakes arn’t a good bet when it comes to rodents. Not everything in the mix is all natural, so it can harm them.
Absolutly no meat. Once an animal has a taste of meat, they’ll want more;; rodents usually bite after fed meat, for whatever reason. When I run out of food for my rodents, I throw different healthy cereals in a bag and mix them. They love it.
