red colored mouse poop?
I just got a new fancy mouse from pet smart and I put him in his new ball… when I looked again he had a red (not bloody) solid poop and I don’t know what that means? He also has scabs and a thing that looks like a human’s pimple on his back… I think he might be sick and please help me out before I decide to return him…
He’s sick for sure. Take him back if you’ve still got time before the guanentee thing is gone because he will die most likely. And you shouldn’t have to deal with a sick mouse. The scabs are what concerns me, either bugs or he’s been bitten by other mice. Whatever you do, DO NOT get another mouse from PetSmart, because most likely, the other mice in that cage are sick too. So, I’d suggest Petco- they are pretty good with taking care of their animals.
