Never an impact just an impression
craving for society’s approval
just being further questioned
voyaging into darker matter
the copper colour reflected
an extra for this whole outer picture
making countless mistakes
to gain one thing
the words that taste so familiar
deny access to sickening sanity
black circles under distraught eyes
the decoration for the walls of a mourning mind
music that’s listened to dance meaninglessly
capturing the unseen reefs
but everything just halts with speech
so much to divert vision
flawed perceptions
craving correct center cores
pin striped days
recycling the driest dirt
which was once earlier a fluorescent daze
If you have enough room or a full wall to paint this onto – then go for it!
However, it is quite long. If you run out of room, maybe you could just pick your favourite lines and write them out. Another neat idea is to make a border around your room with part of/the full poem!
