How to export maya models (mb extensions) to xml?
Hello i`m learning a java 3d engine called JMonkey. For the moment I only know how to import an XML 3d model. Is there any way to import a Maya model? Can i convert mb files to xml files or some like this?

Congratulations, you’ve discovered the pain that is 3d file conversion.
From java monkey’s website – it looks like they support the OGRE mesh XML format.
I would’ve assumed you needed a Collada file had I not seen that, for which there should already be an exporter installed with Maya.
At any rate, check out the software at ogremax.com – there is a Maya plugin that exports to OGRE xml:

Or you could also export to obj files, which Java Monkey supports directly. OBJ’s are kind of a “lowest common denominator” for 3d files, but can be a bit of a pain because different software sometimes handle the material files differently.
If you can afford a copy of PolyTrans, it can be worth having around for 3d conversions.
