Upstage MP3 Ringtones?

So I found out that i can not add songs as ringtones from my micro SD. I first cut my songs down to 20 seconds, then changed the file to 3g2. I put it under my videos, but this didn’t work. I even tried a file converter and still didn’t work.
I have been looking on the threads and haven’t found a real stright anwser. I don’t have the internet on my phone since i don’t want to pay the extra costs, but i do have the text messaging package. I saw on this website on this forum, http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php. Has anyone used this site? Since i don’t have internet, will this site cost me any money for them sending the file to my phone? Is this site easy to use? So, if i get a song from this site, i can put it in “my content” and add it as a ring tone? I’m at work so i can’t try it out, so i just wanted to see if i could get some questions anwsered.

I’ ve yet to find a way to make ringtones out of my mp3′s on my upstage.
I do appreciate you giving the website you gave however and am actually going to try it out. It sure appears to be legitimate.
