What the hell do I need to know about weaves before I get one?
Ok… I have short hair, and I really want to switch it up and do something with long hair. I’ve toyed with the idea of wearing a wig… nah (I’m to active, that would fall off and I would be very embarrassed) so now I think I want a weave.
I want something that is going to look real. Human hair, I can curl, wash, and wear all that. I’ve done a little research on youtube but I haven’t found the information ive been looking for. Such as:
1. The difference between sew in or tracks. Which will damage my hair more?
2. The best brand of hair? What’s going to shed? What’s virgin hair?
3. If I get the weave braided in, does that mean I can’t part and style my hair?
4. Why is it some weaves look so ghetto?
That kind of stuff. So If someone could give me the weave brief or weave 101, the best answer goes to you!
