why is it when i put a mood ring on, i dont get a specific color but instead several colors all mixed together?
every time i put on a mood ring, i get all colors mixed together, from blue, to pink, yellow and green, and all in between including lighter and darker versions all the colors. never a specific color reading my “mood” from these rings.
Any “Mood Ring” or other “Mood Jewelry” all tend to work a little bit differently from one to another. This may be the result of the manufacturing process when the “Mood Ring” was made so that it just changes colors that way. There is the possibility that some moisture; water and/or other liquid seeped into the “Liquid Crystal” (color-changing element), thereby damaging its ability to change to a specific color or colors- & you therefore get a mottled effect (mixture of colors).
I would recommend just purchasing a new “Mood Ring” since they are not too expensive these days (about $3.00 to $5.00 on average).
