How long do real hair clip-in hair extensions last?
How long do clip-in hair extensions usually last? I got real remy hair extensions about 4 months ago, and I feel like I need new ones. They are a bit dry, a little brittle, some of the hair is coming out of the wefts or breaks off, and one of the wefts is pretty much ruined. They aren’t in terrible conditions, I can still wear them, but I was just wondering if I need new ones already and how long hair extensions usually last?
If you have been wearing them daily or often four months then wear and tear will occur so to speak. They will shed(fall out) especially if you have been using thermal styling tools,used hair products,washed them.brushed them the hair does not have any roots so they will not be shiny,remain intact or tangle free for ever. Care of the hair determines how long you have the hair for the less you do it the more wear you will get.Based on the description you really need to get new ones because you do not want the extensions to be so blatantly obvious as they will based on what you said.
