How do you weave clips into hair extensions?
I’ve just bought some extensions and want to know how to weave in the clips :s
What i do with my clip ins is
First Measure the extensions to fit your head from ear to ear above the ears. Cut the extension about a quarter of an inch or so shorter on each side so the extensions dont stick out on the sides.
Personally i double my extensions because my hair is so thick, but i get the measurement of the length the extension then attach another track of the same length behind it. Thats the “doubling technique”.
Then you sew the two tracks of hair together. Use a color thread that will blend in with the hair. My hair is black so i use black thread but if your using blonde use a light brown or golden thread.. ect
Then its time to sew on the clips ! Just make sure the clips are on the weft of the hair extension and that the prongs of the clip is facing outward. I normally sew three on each track and put three sets of extensions in the back of my hair and two sets on each side!
