What will happen if I don’t wash my real hair clip in extensions?
I got 100% human hair clip in extensions about a month ago , what will happen if I don’t wash them. Some people say washing them ruins them is that true?
Also how long do clip extensions last?
Washing extensions will take the wave out (if yours has a curl) and the silicone base that is on it will wash out. However, this is to be expected- just use some thing like Chi or John Frieda to put the silicone back in it. Also, when you wash, only use non-sulfate poos, n good conditioner. Comb with a large comb and let hang (like in your shower) to dry. An alternative to washing clips is to use a spray poo which you can buy at CVS or Wal-mart. You spray it on, brush it through and it smells nice.*This is only since you’ve had it for a month…eventually, you will have to wash them*
Once you do wash them, they will start looking normal, like your own hair and will be almost undetectable: That’s what you want!
