Ipod frozen on apple screen ?
i have the U2 ipod . i think its around 30G . im not to sure . anyway , it’s frozen on the apple screen and when i hold menu and select to reset it (apple website told me to) it just goes all fuzzy and looks like it tries to work than cuts out like when a tv channel is getting another show clips durning the show . its hard to explain , but i want to know how to fix this . i have no damage to the ipod once so over , it just stopped working .

i hold it down for thirty seconds or else it doesn’t work .
ive let it sit for days while plugged in my computer . it won’t even charge .

It sounds like it is running out of batteries. Just plug it into your computer over night, don’t even think about touching it to “test it”, and then look at it in the morning. What might be happening is it is trying to turn on but it can’t quite make it past the apple screen because it doesn’t have enough juice and what you are describing when you try to reset it sounds like it’s running out of batteries.
Also, I know my brother’s ipod touch takes along time to turn on and my dad’s iphone and I think they are frozen but a little while later they turn on. Maybe you just need to wait like a minute or something.
