Changing my look : Will dark olive skin look good with light color hair?
I’m pretty dark kand I want to try super light brown or pure blonde but I’m scared it might turn out bad.
I’ve tried caramel and red, it just made me look darker!
How do I know if I will look good with warm or cool colors?
I have dark brown eyes and my hair right now is mixed with black-brown-red.
If you don’t want to look darker, then you won’t want to get hair any lighter than what you have now. Dark hair makes your skin look lighter, light hair makes your skin look darker (of course there’s a lot more to it than that, but that’s just a general good ground rule.)
Honestly, if you get highlights, maybe something caramelly in dark hair, or something really dynamic in contrast–really light highlights against really dark hair–you could end up with a really incredible look.
Cool colors would probably be better for your skin tone, but try experimenting a bit and finding out what you really like. Just have some fun with it
