Does Pantene Beautiful Lengths work?

So I just got back from cvs and I bought pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner. I want to grow out my hair and I really didn’t like the idea of using mane n tail because it was made for horses, and I know it’s used for humans too but I just don’t like the idea. Anyways I have thick wavy dry hair. I want to know if it really helps damaged hair and help my hair grow longer.
