Cutoff age for clothing choices, when to dress more mature?
Hey, I’m a 19 year old female and I was wondering…
I like to dress cute or “different” a lot… I love pac-sun and their skate shoes, vans, and studded belts. I wear big beaded necklaces a lot too and bright colors and patterns. I don’t so much do Abercrombie or AE, etc.
When do I have to start dressing more “sophisticated”? I don’t want to trade in my clothes for boring conservative styles! I do like a lot at Forever 21 and think they have beter clothes than a lot of places but do I have to stop shopping there at 21 as the name suggests?
It seems some of my friends are already “growing up” and getting rid of their “punkish” clothes. I’m like, guys we are still young!
What is everybody’s opinions?
I am 23 and I still shop @ Forever 21. The name by the way does not suggest their target consumer it just so happen to be Forever 21. I do not agree with the whole idea of “dressing more mature”, i believe that you just have to dress accordingly to the occassion.
It also depends on your sense of style. Some people expresses their sense of individuality thru their clothes. Dont be quick to drop your style just because the people around you are doing so. Dare to be different.
