Mixed Color Made Wig

Mixed Color Made Wig
Any advice for a first-time wig buyer/wearer?

My hair is pretty much wrecked from ill health and misguided hair-treatments. I just bought a wig that is about the same length and color of my natural hair. Its made of kanekalon, not real hair, because I don’t have that kind of money:) It’s about mid-back length, mixed blonde in color, and has bangs. Do you think many people will notice I’m wearing a wig? I dont want people to stare or think it’s weird. Can I style it, if I want to make it wavy or change the bangs length? Are ‘wig-brushes’ neccessary, or can I use my own hairbrush? Do I need a wig-cap? Is there any advice you have, especially from your own experience?

I used to sell wigs. Don’t cut it, it is styled to look its best already. Styling it can mess it up too. No sprays or gels. Put it on a Styrofoam head mold to rinse with very mild shampoo like baby shampoo that has been diluted with a lot of water. Then thoroughly rinse it with warm (not hot) water. You don’t need a wig cap. Hair clip it well to your own hair so the wig moves when your head moves to look more natural. Sometimes you can pull you own hair out around the hairline to mix with the edge of the wig.
