Father’s side
Grandpa is Jamaican, but has Scottish ancestry
Grandma is “Jamaican”, but her father is half irish/half black and her mom is half Indian half black
My eldest sister gets mistaken for puerto rican. She has Jessica Alba color.
Younger sister looks black because she has brown skin but has white features
I have Tyra complexion and green eyes and people ask me if I am Jamaican a lot or Nigerian and I look “light skin black”

I would call you a human being of mixed decent. This is true of most people including white, mexican, black etc. All of us who have had families here for a 100 years or more are normally of mixed heritage. I doubt there are many pure African blacks in America except those who came here directly from Africa within the last 30 years. President Obama is actually half white but labeled as a black. Go figure? Why don’ people refer to him as white? If you have ever so little black in your back ground you are labeled a black. Marhia Carey had a black father but looks white, doesn’t deny her black father but doesn’t claim she is black but of mix heritage. People have got to get over this black and white thing once and for all. As per Dr. King: “Judge a man by his character and not the color of his skin”.
