Where do hair extension companies find the hair they put in 100 % human hair extensions?

I just can’t imagine all these people growing their hair so long, only to cut it off, so where does the hair come from? Cadavers? Or is it secretly mixed with horse hair?

In India . . . people shave their hair for a shrine
there, but someone comes and sweep those hair and sell
them (by the pound 39cents per lb.) then they are
sorted by length, washed and sold again to Gold, a
business in Europe where they make wigs for Beyonce,
Jessica, Paris Hilton etc. . . for tons of money. Did you notice, even Jessica & Paris knows this is a good business, they now have their own, just by using their good name? Except during a photo shoot, Paris wasn’t wearing hers, she wore a different brand hair extensions and she was sued! ~ Forbes article 2001.

They also get them from Pantene or Locks of Love (but they said they’re NOT), but right now LOL have a bunch of donated hair sitting in their warehouse waiting for buyers and they only donate 1% a year to cancer victims. Their CEO is making tons of money, though! Go to BBB & check them out.

There are also people who buys hair online, if you have the right connection, otherwise, you probably end up selling to guys for $1,000 who have hair fetish, just to get free photos & emails from you.

I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80′s & 90′s. I’ve known people in their 30′s whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70′s.
